After Rwanda, we said 'Never Again'. Why is this happening?

I am in my late 20s, married and employed in Perioperative Nursing for Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
I have a passion for Africa. Five years ago I was made aware of the country of Rwanda, the 1994 Genocide, and the reconciliation efforts there ever since. It captured my heart like nothing else ever has. I had the pleasure of visiting the country in 2008, and now consider it my 'home'.
We have recently find out that we are pregnant after 18 months of trying! Due date has been determined as 19 July 2010 and we would appreciate your prayers.

Hey Babe! Yeah, I don't know why it still happens except to say that truly without God's grace and mercy, compassion and love we can't possibly make this world "right". Some of us will try with everything we can but it truly takes the miraculous for mankind to accept and care for all with no prejudice, hatred, jealousy or apathy. As much as we wish we can change the world, without God's Spirit changing our hearts and prejudices (and that means really letting Him change us - not just to the extent it suits our lifestyle/choices etc.) the same things always happen down through the ages. I believe it's only when He comes back will we see true unity and mercy and compassion from all mankind. Look at Mother Theresa, Francis of Assisi, William Booth and many, many more who didn't judge but gave of themselves to help others all their lives with no recompense for their deeds. (That's what I believe ....)
